同学们：
欢迎和期待你进入成都理工大学与英国斯泰福厦大学联合办学项目(以下简称"联合办学项目")学习。同时，也预祝同学们顺利通过考试，进入成就同学们未来的更高平台——成都理工大学。
中英项目旨在通过引进国外优秀教育资源，完成与我校优势资源共享整合，以此为同学们提供一个国际化为起点的教育平台。在这个平台上的学习过程中，联合办学项目将为同学们提供情报具有国际水平的学术课程和高质量的教学质量保证；同时结合学院“以人为本”的科学人文精神，将提供优质的学生管理和服务。相信同学们一定会在中英联合办学项目中感受到与众不同的学习和生活体验。
成都理工大学信息管理工作学院是成都理工大学最具活力、最富创新精神的学院之一，半个世纪的厚积薄发，学院形成了鲜明的办学特色。秉承“立志成才、不甘人后、奋发图强、敢为人先”的办学理念，学院在一些专业办学和科研方面肯有较强的优势。希望同学们充分利用中英联合办学项目这个平台以及信管学院、中英双方高校的良好资源，努力学习，掌握成就未来的本领和能力。

Dear students,
Your future depends on many factors, but few can doubt that a high quality education now will ensure best opportunities for future success. In developing the Staffordshire University Programmes at Chengdu University of Technology it is your high quality education and your future success that have motivated our choices. We have taken not only the syllabus and teaching quality from Staffordshire University, but also the teaching style and the academic management system. You will find studying with us to be hard work, requiring just as much effort as studying abroad would have been, but the benefits will be worth it, gaining all the advantages of a UK education whilst studying in China. You will study a very different programme from that of your other colleagues – not just learning knowledge and facts, but also gaining the skills and understanding essential to making your own success of life.
